Overview
It's the page Fyal opens on and the one that answers “how am I doing?”. Everything it shows depends on the year and period chosen at the top.
The four figures#
At the very top, after the greeting, one large card with the net profit and, below it, three smaller ones:
| Card | What it is |
|---|---|
| Income | Sum of the taxable bases of the period's invoices, in euros. Paid or not. |
| Expenses | Sum of the bases of the period's expenses. Depreciated expenses count by their quota for the period, not the whole amount. |
| Net profit | Income minus deductible expenses. Below it, the margin as a percentage. |
| VAT due | VAT charged on your invoices minus deductible VAT on your expenses. Negative means it carries forward. |
When you switch quarters the figures don't jump: they count to their new value. Try it in Getting started.
Outstanding#
What you've invoiced and haven't been paid yet, with the invoices listed. If any has been pending for more than 30 days, the overview flags it on a separate line; in the invoices table those same ones carry the day counter next to their status.
Recent invoices#
The period's latest invoices, with their status. From here they're marked as paid with a click on the status pill (“Paid” in green, “Pending” in yellow), and “View all” goes to the Invoices page. On the right, the + Invoice and + Expense buttons open the form without leaving the page.
Yearly net summary#
A line with each month's net for the year. The “Income” and “Expenses” buttons overlay those two series to see where the net comes from. Hovering a month shows the exact figures, and at the top right sits your monthly average, computed only over the months with activity so far (empty lead-in months and months yet to come don't dilute it).
Taxes#
What appears here depends on the period:
- With a quarter selected: that quarter's VAT (invoiced base, VAT charged, deductible VAT and result) with the dot in the corner to mark the Modelo 303 as filed.
- With the full year: VAT for all four quarters, the year's income tax with the instalment quarter by quarter, the tax provision with upcoming deadlines and third-party withholdings.
Each block is explained in detail under Taxes.
Tax provision#
A single figure — “Set this amount aside” — adding up the VAT accrued but not yet paid, the estimated income tax still due and the IRPF you've withheld from suppliers. It's money in your account that isn't yours. Below it, the upcoming deadlines with the days left.
Analysis#
- Expenses by category: how much each tag (software, office, travel…) takes in the period.
- Client concentration: what share of your income comes from each client. If one holds most of it, it says so; it's a figure your accountant will ask about.
- Totals by VAT rate: bases and VAT grouped by each rate you use (21%, 10%, 4%…), invoices and expenses separately. It's what goes into the boxes of the 303.
The whole overview is computed from what's recorded. If an invoice has no base in euros — a currency without an exchange rate — the overview leaves it out and says so in the income-tax block.
